Tabaristan mint. Obv: stylised crowned Sassanian style bust right; GDH and Â’pzwt in Pahlavi flanking bust; Â’pd in Pahlavi to lower right in outer margin; nywkÂ’ in Pahlavi to lower left. Rev: fire altar flanked by attendants; star and crescent flanking flames; date to left, mint to right; star-in-crescents and triple pellets in outer margin. About extremely fine.(2.13 grams, 23 mm.).
