Rev: PATRONA VNGARIE, crowned Madonna with child on her right arm divides mintmark. Good very fine.(0.50 grams, 15 mm.). [No Reserve]

The Oak Tree Twopence is the only denomination of early Massachusetts Bay Colony silver coinage to bear the date 1662, believed to be the year of its authorisation based on a court order dated 16th May 1662. -
