An axe-shaped pendant with dense field of calligraphic decoration to one side, reverse with two medallions, each with a leaping feline facing back. [No Reserve]
ProvenanceFrom the family collection of a Hampstead gentleman; formerly acquired in the 1980s.

Found whilst searching with a metal detector on the Down End, Ise of Wight, Hampshire, UK, on 24th September 2024. Accompanied by a copy of the British Museum's Portable Antiquities Scheme (PAS) report no.IOW-32EFE1.
