12TH-13TH CENTURY A.D.
1 3/8 in. (4.16 grams, 34.09 mm overall, 14.69 mm internal diameter (approximate size British I, USA 4 1/4, Europe 7.44, Japan 7)).
D-section hoop with spurs to the shoulders, tall trumpet-shaped bezel with carinated rim and inset turquoise cabochon.

The bronze or copper figurines of this class were cast either in single or double moulds, examples of which have been found at Byblos, Tell Soukas and Megiddo. Stylistically, they can be subdivided into at least two distinct groups: a) The "Byblo-Syrian" Group and b) the "Byblo-Egyptian" Group. -
