Western Asiatic Geometric Iron Age Ceramic Vessel
2ND MILLENNIUM B.C.
10 1/4 in. (2.4 kg, 26.5 cm).
Broad bulbous body with rounded underside, trumpet-shaped neck with carinated chamfered rim, strap handle, curved spout with supporting strap, decorated as beast-head with applied pellet eyes; circumferential painted ornament including figural panels, frond motif and various coloured bands; repaired.
