Viking Age Silver Thor's Hammer Pendant
9TH-10TH CENTURY A.D.
1 3/4 in. (7.73 grams, 47 mm high).
Composed of a loop with coiled wire section and twisted neck creating a smaller loop suspending a pendant formed as Thor's hammer, with coiled wire collar and triangular blade stamped with annulets. [No Reserve]
ProvenancePrivate collection formed in Europe in the 1980s.
