Vietnamese Hoi An Ceramic Shipwreck Plate
15TH CENTURY A.D.
9 1/4 in. (667 grams, 23.5 cm wide).
Comprising a shallow bowl with basal ring, chamfered rim, blue outline panels to the exterior, band of concentric lines, leaves and tendrils to the interior with central floral motif; sticker to base.

The Hoi An shipwreck is in the South China Sea off the coast of Vietnam. The ship was carrying a large cargo of Vietnamese ceramics dating from the mid- to late-15th century AD.
