Victorinus, Romano-Gallic Emperor BI Antoninianus. AD 269-271.
Treveri (?) mint; struck mid AD 269. IMP C PIAV VICTORINVS P F AVG, radiate, draped and cuirassed bust to right / INVICTVS, Sol advancing to left, with right hand raised and holding whip in left; star to left. Cf. RIC V.2 113; cf. RIC V.4 507. Extremely Fine. Unsual issue of Victorinus with the portrait of Postumus, which seems to have been struck at the beginning of his reign.(2.21gr, 20mm, 2h). [No Reserve]
