IMP CAESAR VESPAS AVG COS III TR P P P, laureate head to right / CONCORDIA AVG, Ceres seated to left, holding grain ears in her right hand and cornucopia in her left; monogram below. RIC 1428 var.; cf. RPC II 827C (slightly differing monogram). Very Fine. Rare.(2.25gr, 17mm, 12h.).

    Extremely Fine. Slightly wavy flan. Very Rare and one of the finest known examples.

    Found whilst searching with a metal detector near Wem, Shropshire, West Midlands, UK, on 23 June 2024. Accompanied by a copy of the British Museum's Portable Antiquities Scheme (PAS) report no.LVPL-8A8E89.
