Thrace, Odessos AR Tetradrachm. Circa 120-100 BC.

In the name and types of Alexander III of Macedon. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress, paws tied beneath chin / [Β]ΑΣIΛΕΩΣ [Α]ΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ, Zeus seated to left on backless throne, holding long sceptre in his left hand and, in his right, eagle standing to right with closed wings; ΟΔΗ in inner left field, ΕΣΤIΑΙ in exergue. Price 1206; SNG Stancomb 270; HGC 3, 1588. Good Very Fine. Toned.(14.35gr, 28mm, 1h.).
