Thrace, Byzantion AR Tetradrachm. Circa 90-80 BC. In the name and types of Lysimachos.

Diademed head of Alexander the Great to right with horn of Ammon over his ear / BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΛΥΣIMAXOΥ, Athena seated to left on throne, leaning her left elbow on her shield and holding Nike, crowning the king's name, in her outstretched right hand, behind, transverse spear with point below left; monogram of ΠΜΤΩ to inner left, BY beneath throne, ornate trident in exergue. Callataÿ Group 3, p. 124; Müller 207; HGC 3, 1406. Good Very Fine. Toned.(16.08gr, 33mm, 12h.).
