Thai Bronze Seated Buddha Statue

CIRCA 19TH CENTURY A.D.

4 1/2 in. (261 grams, 11.3 cm).

Hollow-formed with paridhana and crown, left hand held palm-upward in the lap and right hand in the bhumisparsa mudra. [No Reserve]

Provenance

From a collection acquired on the UK art market from various auction houses and collections mostly before 2000.
From an important Cambridgeshire estate; thence by descent.
