Stuart Period Bronze and Iron Combination Padlock
17TH CENTURY A.D.
1 1/2 in. (67 grams, 40 mm).
A cylindrical keyless letter-combination padlock composed of four rotatable discs joined by a bow shackle above; the discs each bearing eleven letters in punched letter type.

Acquired on the UK art market.
