    From the old private Pre-Columbian collection of a retired UK gentleman; his collection formed in the 1990s from much earlier collections. Some of his collection was acquired from the private collection of Wayne Leicht, who acquired the specimens from the estate sale of John Dewar, a previous curator at the Southwest Museum, William S. Hart Museum, and Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. Each one accompanied by an identification card: ‘Pre-Columbian Terracotta Figure / Jalisco / West Mexico / poss. BC100-AD600’.
