Scythian Bronze Mirror with Panther Handle
5TH-4TH CENTURY B.C.
17 3/8 in. (1.85 kg total, 44 cm high including stand).
Discoid mirror with raised rim, ribbed rectangular handle with lateral lobes at base, transverse ribbed finial with stylised feline above modelled in the round; repaired and mounted on a custom-made stand.

Acquired 1971-1971.
