Scottish Coins - John Baliol - Saint Andrews - AR Penny 1292-1296 A.D.
Second coinage, smooth surface issue. Obv: I:D:GRA SCOTORVM REX, crowned bust facing left holding sceptre. Rev: CIVI TAS SAN DREE, for St Andrews mint, with longcross and mullet in each angle, two with six points and two with five points (22 points). Fine. Extremely rare.(0.98 grams, 16 mm.).
