Mint C (Ctesiphon"). Phase 2c, circa AD 226/7-228/30. Diademed bust to right, wearing Parthian-style tiara decorated with star; legend in Pahlavi around / Fire altar with diadems; legend in Pahlavi around. Sunrise 700. Near Very Fine.(10.83gr, 27mm, 9h). [No Reserve]

Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress, paws tied beneath chin / ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ, Zeus seated to left on backless throne, left leg drawn back, his feet resting on a low foot rest, holding long sceptre in his left hand and, in his right, eagle standing to right with closed wings; kerykeion beneath throne, spearhead in outer right field.
