Russian Wooden Orthodox Icon of Mother of God Kazanskaya
LATE 20TH CENTURY A.D.
10 1/2 x 8 3/4 in. (638 grams, 26.7 x 22.2 cm).
Showing the infant Jesus gazing tenderly towards his mother, Mary dressed in elaborate robe with pearl-embroidered cuffs; 'ICXC' above the infant's halo, and Cyrillic inscription on the opposite side; printed on wood. [No Reserve]

HMS Victory was a first-rate ship-of-the-line, the largest class of warship in the Royal Navy at that time. At the Battle of Trafalgar, when she led the British fleet she mounted 104 guns and was fitted with Admiral Nelson’s private cabin.
