Romano-British Bronze Grotesque Head Mount
2ND-3RD CENTURY A.D.
1 3/8 in. (39.3 grams, 36 mm wide).
The roundel with tiered borders, the grotesque head in high relief at the centre, modelled with semi-naturalistic detailing, full beard and pointed ears; remains of mounting lug to reverse. [No Reserve]

Found near Colchester, Essex, 2000.
