Comprising fragments of black glass decorated with green and yellow rosettes surrounded by white pellets, from the same plate. [11, No Reserve]

    From a collection acquired on the UK art market from various auction houses and collections mostly before 2000. From an important Cambridgeshire estate; thence by descent.

    The figure is strangely proportioned with oversized head and small legs; possibly an atlant or support from a vessel.
