Roman Gold Ring with Moon and Star Gemstone
5TH-6TH CENTURY A.D.
1 in. (3.91 grams, 24.55 mm overall, 18.38 mm internal diameter (approximate size British Q 1/2, USA 8 1/4, Europe 18.12, Japan 17)).
Slender round-section hoop, and applied round bezel with granulated edge, set with a carnelian intaglio engraved with a moon crescent and star.
