3 in. (46.5 grams, 78 mm wide).
With dimpled base, bulbous body with opposed dimples to the sidewall, flange to the neck, applied trails to the body.

Found Wiltshire, UK, before 1974.
The brooch features a hinged pin but the ribbed ornament on the crossbar replicates the coiled spring of contemporary Colchester-type bow brooches. -
