Roman Bronze Ring with Clasped Hands Gemstone

2ND-3RD CENTURY A.D.

3/4 in. (3.31 grams, 20.27 mm overall, 16.49 mm internal diameter (approximate size British I 1/2, USA 4 1/2, Europe 8.07, Japan 7)).

Rectangular-section hoop expanding at the shoulders, bezel set with carnelian intaglio with a mani in fede motif; cleaned.

Acquired from an EU collector living in London.
