Roman Bronze Hand with Snake for God Sabazios

3 1/8 in. (105 grams, 80 mm).
Hollow-formed right hand with a rivet hole to the socket, holding up thumb and two fingers, a serpent coiled around the wrist with its head resting against the dorsal side of the hand, punched scale detailing to the body.

This ring, with a flat ellipsoid-shaped bezel, is related to type 2i of the Roman rings in Gallia, and they were usually considered as grave goods. Similar rings have often been found in Illyricum, Salonae, Zadar, Nin or Asseria.
