Reproduction of AR Tetradrachm of King of Thrace, Lysimachos. 20th century AD.

For prototype: Circa 297/6-282/1 BC. Magnesia ad Maeandrum mint. Diademed head of Alexander the Great to right with horn of Ammon over his ear / BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΛΥΣIMAXOΥ, Athena seated to left on throne, leaning her left elbow on her shield decorated with lion's head and holding Nike, crowning the king's name, in her outstretched right hand, behind, transverse spear with point below left; Σ in inner left field, monogram within wreath in outer left field. Thompson 102; HGC 3, 1750e. Condition as seen. 'RR' on edge.(12.39gr, 27mm, 12h.).
