Pre Columbian Black Ware Vessel with Kneeling Figure
CIRCA 700-1350 A.D.
6 1/2 in. (343 grams, 16.5 cm).
Biconical in profile with anthropomorphic spout; the upper face with two lateral panels of running scroll ornament, pelletted bands within; the spout in the shape of a kneeling man with headdress, hands folded in the lap; ribbed strap handle to the rear; the upper section of the head open. [No Reserve]

Acquired in the 1950s from an old Spanish collection.
Ex property of a Spanish gentleman.
