Post Medieval Gold And Gemstone Brooch
19TH CENTURY A.D.
7/8 in. (5.27 grams, 23 mm).
Set with a central cut and polished topaz surrounded by five cut rubies and five cut emeralds with good colour; catchplate remaining to reverse.
Provenance
From the private collection of an Epping, UK, gentleman.
Accompanied by an original valuation by Henry Little & Son, Lancaster, dated 22 April 1974 (£400).
This lot has been checked against the Interpol Database of stolen works of art and is accompanied by search certificate no.201206.
