Phoenicia. Byblos AR 1/16 Shekel. 4th century BC.
Galley to left, containing two hoplites with helmets and round shields; hippocamp to left below / Lion attacking bull to left. Cf. HGC 10, 139. Near Very Fine.(0.68gr, 10mm, 12h.).

Persia. Achaemenid Empire, Time of Darius II to Artaxerxes II AR Siglos. Circa 420-375 BC. Sardes mint or subsidiary mint. Possibly type IV (middle) B.

Lydo-Milesian standard. Persian king or hero, wearing kidaris and kandys, quiver over shoulder, in kneeling-running stance to right, holding dagger in right hand, bow in left / Oblong incuse punch. Cf. Carradice Type IV, Group B. 5.55gr, 14mm.
Very Fine. Countermarked on both sides.
