Phoenicia. Byblos AR 1/16 Shekel. 4th century BC.

Two hoplites, holding shields, on galley to left, prow ending in lion's head; below, hippocamp to left / Lion attacking bull to left. Cf. E&E-B Group IV.4.2 ('Aynel); cf. HGC 10, 139 (same). Near Very Fine.(0.75gr, 10mm, 3h.).
