Lydo-Milesian standard. Sardes or subsidiary mint. Type IIIb (early), style B. Persian king or hero, wearing kidaris and kandys, quiver over shoulder, in kneeling-running stance to right, holding transverse spear and bow / Oblong incuse punch. Carradice Type IIIb, Groups A/B (pl. XIII, 31). Very Fine.(5.43gr, 14mm.).

Head of Athena to right, wearing laureate and triple-crested Attic helmet / AΘΗΝΑΣ ΙΛΙΑΔΟΣ, The Palladion: Athena Ilias standing to right, wearing polos and chiton, holding distaff in left hand, filleted spear over right shoulder; to right, owl standing to right, head facing; monogram of ΔΗΜΗΤΡIOY(?) over star to inner left; ΦΟΙΝΙΚΟΣ in exergue.
