2ND CENTURY B.C.-1ST CENTURY A.D.

3 3/4 - 5 in. (309 grams total, 9.5-12.3 cm including stand).

Each formed as a horse with a tall neck and four splayed legs, a bearded rider figure to the rear; one mounted on a custom-made stand. [2, No Reserve]

Property of a London gentleman; formerly in a French private collection, 1975.
From the private collection of John Meredith, acquired since the 1990s; thence by descent.
