Parthian Bronze Lion Statuette
2ND-3RD CENTURY A.D.
1 1/4 in. (40 grams, 32 mm).
Modelled standing on squat legs, long tail draped along the back, head turned to the left with open jaws, stylised mane detailing behind the neck.

Ex German art market, 2000s.
Acquired from an EU collector living in London.
From the collection of a Surrey, UK, gentleman.
