Old Babylonian Terracotta Plaque with Erotic Scene
CIRCA 1800 B.C.
3 1/8 in. (4 1/4 in.) (285 grams total, 80 mm (11 cm high including stand)).
Depicting an erotic beer drinking scene, the woman portrayed nude and bent at the waist, shown drinking from a pottery vessel with a low straw; a nude male figure standing behind her with his hands resting on her waist; accompanied by a custom-made display stand.

From the property of the late Mr SM, London, UK, 1969-1999.
