Rectangular carved oak puzzle box ("baffling box") made from timber taken from H.M.S. Victory; with provenance documentation. [No Reserve]

Accompanied by an original 1805 collection certificate of provenance for limited edition number 17 of 200.

HMS Victory was a first-rate ship-of-the-line, the largest class of warship in the Royal Navy at that time. At the Battle of Trafalgar, when she led the British fleet she mounted 104 guns and was fitted with Admiral Nelson’s private cabin.
