Norman Bronze Buckle with Beast Heads
11TH-12TH CENTURY A.D.
1 3/4 in. (42 grams, 46 mm).
With rectangular plate, D-section tongue curved over the forward edge of the loop formed as two opposed beast-heads; remains of surface gilding; Romanesque style. [No Reserve]
