8 1/4 in. (946 grams, 21 cm high).
With bulbous body and rounded foot, angled spout and filler to the shoulder, sturdy loop above, bands of painted geometric ornament. [No Reserve]

Acquired in the 1980s. From an interesting European collection of marbles. Property of a European gentleman.
Probably intended to depict Hercules, who customarily wore a lionskin.
