Medieval Stained Glass Double Window of Tracery Heads
FRANCE, CHAMPAGNE, TROYES, CIRCA 1500-1510 A.D.
31 1/2 in. (5.6 kg total, 87 cm each).
Group of four scaphoid panels with lead cames securing, two with a scroll design and bearing a Lombardic script legend: 'BOVRNAM', 'LA HOVSSIERE', the others each with a crouching figure attending to a vine with a bill-hook tucked into his belt. [4, No Reserve]
