1 1/4 in. (0.95 grams, 31.5 mm).
Repoussé work with an enthroned figure holding cross-on-globe and a sceptre.
Provenance
Acquired on the European art market between 1975-2000.

The presence of the runic 'j' character is unusual - perhaps the magical quality which was still felt to belong to runes in the late middle ages was felt to augment the amuletic nature of the inscription. -
