Medieval Period Gold Ring with Turquoise Cabochon
CIRCA 15TH-16TH CENTURY A.D.
1 in. (2.21 grams, 23.45 mm overall, 17.09 mm internal diameter (approximate size British K 1/2, USA 5 1/2, Europe 10.58, Japan 10)).
Composed of a slender round-section hoop and ellipsoidal bezel set with a turquoise cabochon held by four claws, filigree swirls below, engraved vines to the shoulder, engraved quatrefoil within roundel to reverse.

Acquired 1990s-early 2000s.
