Medieval Gilt Bronze Figure of Saint John the Evangelist from a Processional Cross
1400-1530 A.D.
2 3/8 in. (20.1 grams, 60 mm).
Modelled as a tall slender man wearing a long robe and mantle, holding a book in his right hand and having his hair styled in Romanesque style; standing on a rectangular plinth tapering to a cross-section rod bending to the left.

Found near Burton Pidsea, East Riding of Yorkshire, UK, on Monday 20 May 2024.
Accompanied by a copy of the British Museum's Portable Antiquities Scheme (PAS) report no.SWYOR-3B3596.
