Mahogany Coin Collector's Cabinet
20TH CENTURY A.D.
30 x 19 3/4 x 11 3/4 in. (22.7 kg, 76H x 50W x 30D cm).
Comprising sturdy frame with pediment and base, two glazed doors with escutcheons to locks; each door with inset group of four graduated coins inset at the top; 28 sliding trays each with two turned-bone pull handles, 7 columns and 11 rows of shallow recesses to accept coins, some recesses lined with felt; carcass with original felt-covered backing boards [No Reserve]
