Helmeted head of Roma to right; star on neck guard, ROMA downwards behind, mark of value beneath chin / M • METELLVS • Q • F •, Macedonian shield with elephant's head in central boss, surrounded by laurel wreath. Crawford 263/1b; BMCRR Rome 1147; RSC Caecilia 29a. Very Fine. Toned with golden iridescence around the devices.(3.88gr, 19mm, 7h.).
