Levant & the Near East Zoomorphic Bronze Weight of 2 Shekels. Late Bronze Age, circa 1500-1100 BC.
Bronze weight in the shape of a frog upon cylinder, standing of flat round base. Cf. Hendin, Ancient Scale and Weights, 121 (bird; 4 Shekels). Condition as seen.(14.17gr, 24mm x 14mm.).
