Levant & the Near East Zoomorphic Bronze Weight of 1 Qedet. Iron Age, circa 1100-900 BC.
Bronze weight in the shape of a stylistic housefly with flat base. Cf. Hendin, Ancient Scale and Weights, 170 (1/2 Qedet); cf. Μünz Zentrum Auktion XLV, Teil III, 67 (4/10 Qedet). Condition as seen.(10.40gr, 21mm x 15mm.).
