Levant & the Near East Zoomorphic AE Weight of 30 Giru. Late Bronze Age, circa 1500-1200 BC.
Weight in shape of a duck, with head turned towards the tail. Cf. Hendin, Ancient Scale and Weights 63 (11.10gr); cf. Münz Zentrum, Auktion XLIX, Teil IV, 5018 (10.26gr; hematite). Condition as seen.(11.44gr, 18mm x 16mm.).
