Levant & the Near East Zoomorphic AE Weight of 3 Shekel. Late Bronze Age, circa 1500-1200 BC.
Bronze weight in shape of a duck, with head turned towards the tail and with flat base. Cf. Hendin, Ancient Scale and Weights, 62 (hematite stylised duck). Condition as seen.(24.30gr, 43mm x 18mm.).
