Large Medieval 'Thames' Pewter Double Tax Seal. Circa 14th-15th century AD.
Three crowns flanked by initials 'D(?)A' and legend to the border 'C[..]ON{..}VYTS • CO[...]' / Lion rampant within a beaded border with legend '[...]VYTS * COD[...]'. Condition as seen. Conjoined roundels with folded strap.1 7/8 in. (33.76gr, 47mm, 2h.).
