A rare and unusual English find comprising a D-section hoop with incuse wreath detailing to the outer face, knop bezel formed as a skull modelled in the round. 4.28 grams, 32.39 mm overall, 18.17 mm internal diameter (approximate size British P, USA 7 1/2, Europe 16.23, Japan 15)
Found whilst searching with a metal detector on the Down End, Ise of Wight, Hampshire, UK, on 24th September 2024. Accompanied by a copy of the British Museum's Portable Antiquities Scheme (PAS) report no.IOW-32EFE1.
