Kings of Thrace, Lysimachos AR Tetradrachm. Struck circa 297/6-282/1 BC. Magnesia ad Maeandrum mint.
Diademed head of Alexander the Great to right with horn of Ammon over his ear / BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΛΥΣIMAXOΥ, Athena seated to left on throne, leaning her left elbow on her shield decorated with lion's head and holding Nike, crowning the king's name, in her outstretched right hand, behind, transverse spear with point below left; in the outer left field, torch, in inner left field, monogram of ΠYP. Müller 443a var. (slightly differing monogram); Thompson 115. Near Extremely Fine. Beautiful toning. Well-centred.(16.81gr, 29mm, 11h.).
