Kings of Bithynia, Nikomedes III Euergetes AR Tetradrachm. Dated CY 193 (105/4 BC). Nicomedia mint.
Diademed head to right / BAΣIΛEΩΣ EΠIΦANOΥΣ NIKOMHΔOΥ, Zeus standing facing, head to left, crowning the king's name with his right hand and holding long sceptre in his left; to inner left, eagle standing to left on thunderbolt above monogram of MATP and ΓϘΡ (date). RG p.231; HGC 7, 645. Good Very Fine. Beautiful old cabinet tone.(16.72gr, 32mm, 12h.).
